This allows the 90-ton ecHo 85 to achieve an optimal 12 kt cruising speed, while sipping fuel. At 85′ long, slow-speed maneuvering control is critical, especially when wind and tides are a condition. With an Express Joystick System® (EJS®) and proportional hydraulic bow and stern thrusters from Twin Disc, the ecHo 85 moves without hesitation in almost unlimited directions.
